Directions to
Shagbark Ridge Llama Farm
Go to the shopping center on the
east side of SR 37 south of
Pleasant Street. Enter by Lowe's. Go to Town & Country
Dr. located between Lowe's and Meijers. Go east on Town
& Country Dr. and continue around the round-about and
go north on Union Chapel Rd. - through the "road closed"
barrier.
Union Chapel Rd. now dead ends at our drive.
For 2011, we must ask you to park, drop off and pick up club members
on the "road closed" Union Chapel Rd. - at the entrance
to our drive.
Please read more details below.........
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so we can start on time!!!
Your animals will not be held for you if you are late.
We would appreciate an early email if you are not attending the meeting.
2011 - Due to the number of cars coming to the meetings, it will not be
possible for all the cars
to drive back to the farm on our one lane drive. All youth must
be dropped
off at the beginning of our drive on Union Chapel Rd. If you
are a 4-H'er driving,
please park your cars out on Union Chapel Rd. and walk back to the
farm.
When the meeting is over, all
youth will walk out to the entrance to our drive. Parents must park
there on Union Chapel to wait for the
meetings to end. Parents are welcome to park there
and walk back to our meetings.
When coming to the farm other than regular meeting times, please follow
the guidelines below.
PLEASE PULL COMPLETELY
INTO THE BARNYARD AREA
TO STOP OR TURN
AROUND!
(how can I emphasize this any more?)
DO NOT
STOP IN THE DRIVE AT ANY TIME UNLESS YOU PULL COMPLETELY UP TO
THE HOUSE OR THE
STUDIO - NOT JUST BY THE PINE TREES.
When stopping in the drive, you are blocking others from entering or
leaving and also causing others
to drive into our yard. We receive many complaints!! If everyone will exhibit just a moment
of
patience and courtesy at meeting times and not stop in the drive, it will help our traffic immensely.
PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE OFF OUR
DRIVEWAY WHEN THE
GROUND IS SOFT OR WET! PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PASS ON OUR
DRIVEWAY!
Pulling off the drive leaves large ruts in our yard which require so much time and
money to repair. You can avoid
some of the traffic congestion by
arriving early and leaving late. Please, please ..... pull
completely up into the barn lot, completely up to the studio, or to the
house so others can also get in an out. Please do not stop along the
side of
or park in the
drive at any point. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
